  • Succulents are the ideal beginner plant because they need almost no attention. The only thing they’re fussy on is light. They need to be somewhere bright, like a windowsill or anywhere close to a window or skylight. That’s their only big ask. You hardly ever have to water them and there’s no other upkeep involved. With their interesting shapes and colours, succulents will look equally impressive together, or split up around your home.

Echeveria, grows leaves in a striking rosette shape. They like lots of light and very little water. As they grow, the outer leaves may turn brown. This is nothing to worry about. They're just getting rid of old growth to make way for new leaves, which grow from the centre. You can pick orsnipoff brown leaves.

    Did you know?

The only continent that has no native species of succulent is Antarctica.
