• About Ophiopogon

  Ophiopogon oozes sophistication - whether planted alone or intermixed with other plants, the neat tufts of black grass bring a certain class to your garden thoughout the seasons and can act as a contrasting plant for softer, lighter stemmed grasses.

  It is the perfect, slow growing, low-maintenance plant. If planted out, it can spread out and can be an interesting grass replacement in more shadier spots.

  You may notice small purple flowers in summer and small black berries appear in the autumn. Great for a cottage garden or to bring some interest into your borders.
