When you think of spring, you probably picture tulips. Plant this collection to bring glorious rich colours to even the smallest outdoor spaces.
To grow your flowers, plant the bulbs from September. You can plant your bulbs straight into borders and beds, or pop them in a nursery pot or decorative pot with drainage holes. When it comes to depth and space, each type of bulb has different planting needs to check the instructions on the bulb pack.
Start feeding your plants with a liquid fertiliser as soon as shoots appear. Flowers will appear in spring. Deadhead regularly to encourage more flowers and stop feeding your plant once the foliage starts to die down at the end of the season. These plants will die back - you might find they reappear next year, but for a full display of tulips it’s best to plant new bulbs.
